A while back on the news, the “Don’t Ask. Don’t Tell.” thing was huge. It took up too much time on the national news, and there was no reason for it, if you ask me. In my opinion, because they are serving for our country, and keeping us free, then they have the right to be homosexual, straight, or bisexual openly. They took the time to serve our nation, and risk their lives for us, yet they are restricted to such small things, that they can’t even share their own orientation. Some of these people come home; scared, frightened, and sometimes are not even allowed to say what they did over seas. They should all have the right, and will power, to come out to people, and say what they want to say, or believe in. THEY ARE STILL NATIONAL HEROS TO EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF US! Some little thing in life should just be heard, and said. I believe this is one of them. The government has NO right to say whether or not these men and women who put their lives, family, jobs, safety, and everything else they have, on the line cannot be homosexual, bisexual, lesbian, gay, straight, transgender, or anything else. I always hear kids complaining of school lunches. They can never get what they want, or tasted nasty. Well I decided to go to school with my little brother, and found out… They were right. I do not like school lunches either. To me, It’s nasty, it’s never warm, it kinda smells weird, and it disturbs me in general. Yes, I will agree that it is healthy for you, and it gives all the proper nutrition for that part of the day. BUT, if we cannot stand the taste, then how do they expect us to eat it. My little brother now packs his lunch daily, and granted it’s hard to find all the same nutritional value, but I think it makes his school day brighter. So, a very often topic in schools these days seems to be, what should happen to the drinking age? Should we keep it the same? Raise it? Lower it? or Maybe even ban it? Well I personally would like to raise it, only do to the fact of research shows, that even at the age of 21, it would only take one bear every weekend to become a alcoholic. If we lower it, then we would have a whole bunch of immature people around drinking. But a good side to the lowering it is; kids always seem to want to break the law. If it wasn’t against the law for them to drink anymore, they will probably get bored. Raising it will help people stay away from become alcoholics, and possible keep everyone safer in the long run. Banning it would be a HORRIBLE idea if you ask me. Going back to what I said before, If it’s illegal then people are going to want to do it more. So we have all seen a seven-year-old with a cell phone before right? Well I think that is just absurd. I believe that children should not, receive a cell phone until they can drive, or if they are always away from home, or even if they pay for it themselves. In some states, the driving age starts at 14. Bigger states the lowest age is 18. I think that is when children could be given the responsibility to have a cell phone. If they are going away from home for a while for some reason, then maybe a rental cell phone could work for them. And if they can pay for it themselves, then they obviously are old enough to understand some responsibility. Children younger than that should never have a cell phone, without a good enough reason. What do you believe? Should kids be able to have a cell phone whenever they want? OR, should they have to wait until they are old enough and mature enough to handle it. So everyone has heard about Snooki’s recent death. May her rest in peace, but honestly how many of us out there even care the smallest amount. Yes, she was famous, but she was just a normal human like everyone else. AND If we treat others people (that we don’t know, or not know well) deaths like nothing, why would it matter if a person from Jersey Shore died? To me it doesn’t. Yes it’s always sad to hear someone die at a young age. From my understanding, people didn’t like her. SO, my question to you all is, how did you feel about Snooki’s death. Now remember this is not about her fuzzy slippers…

Not everyone has been to a 3D Movie, but for those of you that have, did you have to pay extra for the glasses? I did, and I thought it was a waste of money to have to pay for the glasses, and then FORCED to RETURN them into a recycling bin afterwards. This really torqued me off, do to the fact that I PAID for the glasses, so doesn’t that make the glasses mine to keep. I stole mine and made my friends who came with do the same, just to prove a point. They told us to put it in the bin, and we RAN out of the building laughing. I can understand why they want you to recycle them, just so you don’t ditch them on the side of the road, but we should get the choice to keep them or not. What do you guys think of the matter?
